Your license is expired?

Dear customer,

The pop-up warning that your ‘License Key is about to Expire’ or ‘Has Expired’ is designed to inform you that your Update & Support Contract has/is coming to an end.

To Update : please arrange this with your distributor, then follow the steps below.

To Release : please contact your distributor and inform him that you wish to be ‘released’ from our Update & Support services, you will then need to follow the steps below.

Please note: if you decide to ‘release’ yourself from our Update & Support services – we are not obliged to support you, unless of course you update your software again.
Our Update & Support schedule includes insurance of your software against loss or theft)

License ‘update’ or ‘release’ process:

1. Start TEMPLO
2. Click on the left menu on “settings“, then on “system”
3. Click on the right on “System administration”
4. Click on the left menu on “Update license”
5. Click on the right on “Retrieve license via Internet”, if you have an internet connection
6. Click on the right on “Read license from file“, if you have received a file from CONTEMPLAS.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
8. Shut down TEMPLO and restart it.

If the message of license key expiration still shows up, it is possible that one of these cases apply:

1. You have purchase a license between 01.01.20xx – 30.09.20xx.

In this case you are entitled to contact our support hotline within the purchase year for questions and problems and to be supported by online help. Furthermore you are entitled to all software updates within the year of purchase until 31.12.20xx. In addition the dongle was time limited in order to be protected against loss or theft of the license key. Due to this protection the purchase of a new licenses is not needed rather than just a small hardware replacement fee.

You don´t want to benefit from these advantages anymore?
No problem. Please inform us briefly, that you refrain from the advantages and we will enable your license key for permanent use.

2. You have purchased a license between 01.10.20xx – 31.12.20xx.

In this case you are entitled to contact our support hotline within the year of purchase and in the following year in case of questions and problems and to be supported by online help. Furthermore you are entitled to all software updates within the year of purchase and in the following year until 31.12.20xx. In addition the dongle was time limited in order to be protected against loss or theft of the license key. Due to this protection the purchase of a new licenses is not needed rather than just a small hardware replacement fee.

3. You have a valid update and support contract

In this case, you are entitled to contact our support hotline for questions and problems and to be assisted by online help. In addition, all software updates are available to you. In addition, your dongle is time-limited, so if it is stolen or lost, it can be replaced for a small fee. This makes the purchase of a new license at full price obsolete.

Why has the license key not been enabled yet?
It is possible that we have made a mistake or your contract has not been paid yet. If you have paid, please contact us immediately. We will check the situation and will send you the activation code immediately.
